Winter Pilates & Mindfulness Retreat, Lewes, South Downs



You’re invited to…breathe, relax and enjoy this lovely historic house. Stretch in the gardens. Stargaze at the fire-pit. Take an uplifting walk up on the Downs to forage. Listen to the birdsong. Ghost-hunt for the Bloomsbury Group….or just curl up fire-side with a book. THE WEEKEND – In a nutshell

Friday  start your retreat off with arrival drinks and nibbles then settle yourselves down, unpack & relax. You will then have a wonderful Pilates session designed to focus the mind and relax the body. In the evening you will then be invited to a meditation where we will learn the concepts of Mindfulness through a meditative body scan.

Saturday your day will be filled with an invigorating Pilates session in the morning, followed by a Mindful walk in the beautiful South Downs after breakfast and finally another Pilates session just  before dinner.

Sunday morning we will have a class where we bring it all together and just do some lovely mindful movements. We finish off the retreat with a Calm Abiding Meditation which will leave you feeling rejuvenated and refreshed.

THE TEAM – who will look after you…

Kate Lewis Pilates Teacher & Massage Therapist Kate has been a Pilates teacher and Massage therapist for over 12 years. Kate’s approachable manner helps her to connect with her clients and therefore help them achieve their full potential. You will be inspired by Kate’s work and her energy for life.

Rohanna Halls – Pilates Teacher Rohanna’s amazing teaching style comes out of years of movement education. She has a unique ability to relax you whilst getting you to work hard. Rohanna’s thoughtful manner and kind approach will bring a new depth to your Pilates practice.

Cynthia Bonell – Mindfulness Teacher Cynthia has been prac@sing Mindfulness for and meditation for over 35 years and taught many Mindfulness courses over the years. Cynthia isBuddhist in her philosophy and her gentle approach to meditation makes it easy for beginners to access the skill.

GETTING THERE – Its simple…

Directions Tilton House Pilates Retreat

Under  90 mins from Sunbury to Tilton house. Its roughly M23, then A23, then A27 into the village of Firle. Use the sat nav for most of the journey. Full address and directions will be given out on booking

Shared room: £400 Single room: £460

All rooms have either a twin bed, triple or a single bed. All rooms have en suite, and views either on to the South Downs or the Sussex Weald. Rooms will be allocated in advance, we will try our best to accommodate any special requests. All rooms are within the main house.
